Balsamic caramel onions
Ingredients
- 3 large onions cut in thick slices
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp Mable syrup
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Heat a pan over low heat melt butter, add onions and cook until tender
- Quickly stir maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, salt and black pepper
- Toss gently to blench
- Serve immediately. Suitable for freezing
