Braised tomato and onion

Cook Time 10 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 3 large tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried marjoram
  • 1 tbs butter
  • 2 tbs parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Over  low heat, melt butter in a pan
  • Add onion slices and toss to coat. Cook 1min
  • Add garlic. Cook 1min
  • In a greased casserole dish, layer tomato slices and onion slices. Sprinkle dried herbs, salt and pepper on each layer.  Sprinkle cheese on top
  • Cook in moderate oven for ten minutes
